Former South Carolina governor and Trump’s US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley is one of a long list of potential Republican Presidential candidates for the 2024 elections. While it is early to start making predictions, she stands a real chance and could be a big difference-maker.

After resigning from the administration in a dignified manner in 2018, Haley has kept a rather low profile, besides previously claiming that she would not run in a presidential election against her former boss. While she’s only provided a small sound bite about it so far, it seems like this is possible. “We are taking the holidays to kind of look at what the situation is. If we decide to get into it, we’ll put 1,000% in, and we’ll finish it.”

Her political aspirations after the 2022 elections have focused around unifying the party as well as the country more than anyone else. This unified message is a tactic the left tends to push more, but it could help draw in the independent voters to cross over to the right side. If she is legitimate, it could lead to an explosive campaign, especially against Trump and possible FL Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Not only is she a conservative choice, but she’s also a female. Some people don’t care about party lines – they care about seeing themselves represented. And this could bring in female voters from both sides.

Should she run, the list of politicians who would gladly work with her and support her efforts is endless. Her connections on both sides of the aisle could unite the presidency and the people in a way we haven’t seen since 9/11. It’s something the party is overdue for.
