A young woman who has faithfully served as a Disney cast member for years stood outside the headquarters of the media giant in Burbank, California in protest. She bravely spoke against her employer for pushing gender ideology on young children.
The woman shouted to the crowd, “I’m a cast member here, for Disneyland actually. I’ve been with them for quite a long time and it has gotten very political and it’s gotten very hard to be who you are. It’s gotten very hard to be someone who has conservative values.”
She went further, trying to describe what it is like to have an opinion that is contrary to the woke agenda that the Disney enterprise is promoting. She took a stand in protest saying that it is okay to stand up for righteousness. She challenged any of her fellow cast members to be courageous and to stand up. She promised them that they were not alone.
The cast member joined a crowd outside of the headquarters which was organized by a group called “Hold the Line.” They join together in chanting “Boycott Disney!”
One of the protesters with the group, Marcos Zeladaa Rodas, told local news agency Fox 11, “But to teach them at such a young age and to have a task force focusing on teaching these things to kids — I think it’s just morally wrong as a Christian and just what I believe in my personal beliefs.”
One woman who joined the protest drove all the way from Orange County. She declared that it was time to stand up to Disney. She said that it is the job of parents to make sure that their children watch things that are appropriate for them.
Another protestor, Shaun Frederickson, added that children are moldable, and Disney knows that. He said that Disney is saying that they want to mold children into the image they desire. He was asked about the question some might have regarding the fact that Disney does not force parents to let their children watch their programming. He compared Disney to Google and Apple and described these cooperations as both powerful and convenient.
The founder of the “Hold the Line” movement is a popular worship leader named Sean Feucht. He told Fox News that Disney had entertained our children for a long time and people have loved it. But, Feucht said, Disney has “crossed a line in the sand.” He said they are working to enable the fight to sexualize our children ages 5 to 8-years-old. He invited concerned parents to join him in the protest by being with them at the headquarters, but if they could not come they could cancel any means of providing Disney with revenue.
Feucht spoke right to Disney saying that they previously created safe places for kids, but now they were siding with those who want to groom children by teaching them about sex and transgenderism at an early age. The popular worship leader was one of 50 faith leaders who went to the White House in 2019 to pray for then-President Donald Trump.
In March, Disney attacked the state of Florida for passing their Parental Rights in Education law. Opponents of the new law have given it the name “Don’t Say Gay Law.” Disney wrote in a response that the law should never have been passed and that their goal as a company is for the law to be repealed or struck down in the courts.
The company declared that they are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in the state of Florida and around the nation.
Against such powerful forces, at least one cast member was willing to “stand for righteousness.”
