We’ve already disgraced ourselves by letting the Taliban take Afghanistan. We’ve already embarrassed ourselves by leaving Americans behind. We’ve already sacrificed ourselves to terrorist suicide bombers.
Haven’t we done enough?
Apparently, not. The Biden administration is now talking about ways that we can pay the Taliban. Yes, you read that correctly.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has talked about the possibility of sending aid to the Taliban.
ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked the important question of whether the U.S. would actually consider delivering aid and economic assistance. Sullivan answered that the U.S. will indeed continue to provide humanitarian aid directly to Afghans. As far as whether the Taliban will also receive that aid, it’s entirely on the table. It all depends on their commitment to withhold international obligations and whether they allow Afghanistan to become a platform where terrorists can attack the U.S. and other nations.
Essentially, our hard-earned taxpayer dollars could be used to line the pockets of the Taliban.
It’s another sign of weakness from the Biden administration. Please, don’t hurt us. We’ll give you financial aid if you promise to do what we ask.
This is a joke.

Sullivan said, “it’s going to be up to them. We will wait and see by their actions how we end up responding in terms of the economic and development assistance.”
Why on earth are we allowing the Taliban to dictate whether we provide them aid or not? The Biden administration has to show strength at some point – and this is not the way to do it.
Trading economic assistance for safe passage home for Americans is de facto paying a ransom to terrorists. https://t.co/n3hePKxGos

No one wants to hand over their taxes so that it goes into the hands of terrorists that are not only responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks on U.S. soil but also indirectly responsible for the killing of 13 members of the U.S. military at the Kabul airport just a week ago.
Add this to the list of impeachable offenses. https://t.co/KKfuXcGBxt

If we continue to give aid to the Afghan people, it will end up in the hands of the Taliban. Why? The Taliban has control of everything, including the banks. It’s naïve to think that the terrorists aren’t going to get their hands on it, regardless of whether the aid goes through NGOs or not.
Will it be pallets of cash this time?https://t.co/ZmQQX2y2XB

The Taliban took Afghanistan by force. Along the way, they gathered up our weapons and used them against us. And when our last plane flew out of Kabul, they celebrated with fireworks.
The Taliban can’t be any clearer. They are not looking to develop peaceful relations with the U.S. Of course, they’ll lie and say that they are if it means that we’re going to hand over stacks of cash to them.
We’ve given the Taliban enough – including billions of dollars worth of military weapons and vehicles. Yet, the Biden administration is essentially willing to give them more/
This isn’t just the potential of giving them aid. According to Reuters, a Treasury Department official has already identified that the U.S. has issued a license that will authorize the continued facilitation of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The Biden administration has officially lost its mind…and they’re taking our taxpayer dollars along the way.
