The headline might strike you as being odd. Some might be wondering how this could even be possible. Anyone who doubts this headline is going to want to read on and learn more, though. There is even more to this story than what meets the eye.
“The desperate plea landed this week in the email inboxes of employees in government agencies like the Department of Homeland Security and NASA: Will you consider taking a four-month paid leave from your job to help care for migrant children in government-run shelters packed with new arrivals at the border?” the New York Times reports.
“A briefing memo sent to administration officials this week directed the health department to “identify and deploy all available federal volunteers to support” the effort to address the increase of minors, a drive reflected by the email seeking government workers to help. As of Friday, 2,722 employees across the government have volunteered, in most cases with their salaries being picked up by the health department. Some are caring for children at shelters. Others are helping with case management, I.T. services, food delivery, transportation and other logistics,” the Times continues.
Meanwhile, other sources are offering additional background on this insanity. We can hardly believe our eyes. It’s not that we cannot buy into the idea of Biden behaving in such a foolish manner. That is par for the course for him. He views the federal government as a Band-Aid for issues that have nothing to do with us. To make matters worse, the border crisis that he has created did not need to take place.
Breitbart has more: “The reported redeployment of thousands of federal employees to aid border crossers comes as the Biden administration has seen the U.S.-Mexico border become overwhelmed as a result of the policy changes made by the president in his first few weeks in office.
In March, federal immigration officials apprehended nearly 170,000 border crossers including more than 18,600 UACs, nearly 53,000 family units, and nearly 97,000 single adults. The surge in illegal immigration under Biden marks a 72 percent increase in a single month and 243 percent increased compared to March 2020.”
These numbers are hard to ignore but the Biden administration is willing to look the other way as long as the liberals are. The surge is concerning enough but Brietbart has more about their true area of worry. Border crossing has become easier and easier, as more and more illegal immigrants are getting into America without much trouble.
“Most concerning is the number of border crossers who are successfully illegally entering the U.S. without being detected by federal immigration officials. Breitbart News exclusively reported that about 155,000 illegal aliens have successfully crossed into the U.S. since October 2020 — roughly 1,500 “got-aways” every day,” the report indicates.
That’s a startling number to take in, for sure. 1,500 illegal immigrants are breaching our borders on a daily basis and Biden is content to twiddle his thumbs. He might sneak in a nap or two as well. To be fair, he is also very busy making sure that his crazy dog bites at least one White House employee per day. These are the priorities that are most important to him.
The level of nonsense that the Biden supporters are willing to put up is beyond our level of comprehension. Other nations take the time to set their standards and they keep them in place at all times. For Biden, it’s all negotiable. If he can please the liberals, he will leave all of his morals behind completely.
We just want the insanity to stop. Is it so harsh to want to live in a country where the rule of law is still applied? That’s why we miss the mean orange man that the liberals were so quick to get rid of. He would never have allowed this issue to get to this point and he’s already been making his feelings known, every chance he gets. We shouldn’t have to wait until 2024 for order to be restored.
