Every time that we think we are done with the hysteria, Biden reminds us that we still have a ways to go. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky is offering up a grim prognosis for the future and Biden is the one who is going right along with it. Instead of pushing back against these statements, he is further the fear-mongering.
“We have so much to look forward to, so much promise and potential…and so much reason for hope, but right now I’m scared,” said Walensky. The fact that she said this about a virus that has such a high survival rate is pretty ridiculous but what do we know? We just have access to the same facts and figures that she does.
Yes, the cases are on an uptick right now but so are vaccinations. This is the only way to get out of the pandemic. There’s no magical solution that we have not already thought of. Life will need to go on and people will need to decide on the level of risk that is best for them.
That’s all there is to it. Biden is also looking to local leaders to help him reinforce this stupid idea that we need to remain afraid. Local officials, mayors and governors are being implored to reinstate the mask mandates. Biden claims that this is not a political ploy but we are never going to fall for that tired line.

He’s the literal worst president that we have ever had when it comes to this type of stuff and anyone who does not see it by now is missing the point. Everyone, on both sides of the aisle, is ready for the nonsense to stop. “I’m reiterating my call for every governor, mayor and local leader to maintain and reinstate the mask mandate. Please, this is not politics,” Biden said.
Again, we are not going to go for this one. In the words of the great Hall and Oates, no can do. As millions of Americans continue to receive their vaccine, this is the only route back to normalcy. Anyone who tries to act like there’s another way, where we are stuck inside for another summer, is losing their mind.

It does not matter what side of the political spectrum you are on and it has nothing to do with being properly prepared to weather a pandemic. Mask mandates are purely political at this point and we are willing to bet that if any leftists were contacted about it, even some of them would be on board.
People have been drawing parallels to the Spanish flu pandemic that took place roughly 100 years ago. Those are all well and good but there are some things that are being forgotten in all of this. The previous pandemic was an awful one and guess what? We vaccinated our way out of that one, too. The medical field wasn’t even as advanced then and they were still able to get back to normal once the vaccines started circulating.
This pandemic also offers a valuable point of reference in another way. People did the best that they could to keep their distance and they were inside for quite some time. Despite their best efforts, they finally broke and started going outside in droves. This is the same thing that is going to happen if Biden continues down this path of fear-mongering and attempting to scare people out of living the lives that they deserve.
People have spent a lot of time sacrificing and doing what is right, only for their efforts to fall by the wayside. Biden may want to follow the science but what about the mental health aspect? Scientists are going to be unpacking that for years to come and the long-term effect on the national psyche is going to be tough to get past. Biden should stop talking about this and deal with the border crisis!
