The hypocrisy of the liberals in California never seems to stop coming to the surface. Each time they issue stricter lockdown measures, one of them is caught violating the rules. They act like the rules do not apply to them. The Democrats act like kings and queens around the country, but they forget that the voters have the final say in America.
At first, it was Nancy Pelosi trying to get her hair done. She was caught on camera, not wearing a mask and walking into a business that should have been closed. She would later blame the salon owner and claim she was set up. But she had to make that appointment herself.
Gavin Newsom could not leave well enough alone as he was found violating dinner rules. He gathered at the home of a wealthy lobbyist to show his support for the wickedness of the man. He would later try and bury the truth but failed in doing so.
Newsom would then be caught flying many liberals to Maui for a political celebration of their wins. It seems fair, and all except it violated travel restrictions. He would then lie his way around the truth and try to bury the story under a mountain of failed deeds.
Sheila Kuehl, a Los Angeles County Supervisor, would be found eating out moments after she voted to halt all outdoor dining. Her claim to fame was that it would spread COVID-19 cases. The Democrats in California must think they are immune to the virus. Or they are lying about how bad it really is.
Kuehl stated that eating outside was “a most dangerous situation. This is a serious health emergency, and we must take it seriously. The servers are not protected from us, and they’re not protected from their other tables that they’re serving at that particular time, plus all the hours in which they’re working.”

Kuehl left the meeting, where she voted to ban outdoor eating and went to her favorite place to eat outdoors. Her own office would state against her that “She did dine al fresco at Il Forno on the very last day it was permissible. She loves Il Forno, has been saddened to see it, like so many restaurants, suffer from a decline in revenue. She ate there, taking appropriate precautions, and sadly will not dine there again until our Public Health Orders permit.”
The political hypocrisy hangs around her neck. Her actions have angered all the restaurant owners that are suffering to pay their employees and stay in business. The liberals want to destroy as much of free enterprise as they can because it stands in their way of a socialist state.
The vote to outdoor shutdown eating hurts the efforts of restaurants to comply with previous orders. Many places invested a lot of money to make eating outdoors safe. But now that the money is spent, the Democrats take away the option to stay open.
One bar owner named Angela Marsden revealed the truth when she stated that “They shut us down. I kept changing, doing everything they wanted. I did the plexiglass, I did temperature checks. They reopened us, things started to pick up, they shut us down again. I went through my [Paycheck Protection Program] in two months. I have a disaster loan that’s almost gone. I’ve spent $100,000 doing the changes they wanted me to do.”
The Democrats react by how they feel, and that is why their rules make no sense and are incredibly confusing for people to follow.
Marsden voices her frustration when she says, “All of us had to make those changes, all of us had to do that, and they shut us down…I finally had enough. I can’t do it anymore. Somebody’s got to do something and say something.”
These actions by Democrats have cost them a lot of positions in government at various levels. Their losses will be further seen as future elections take place. The idea of a red California is not a fictional story. The Democrats are doing a great job of making people vote for the Republicans. They will lose the state themselves, and they won’t have to cheat to do it.
