Biden Paints a Picture: Riots Bad, But Orange Man Worse

Joe Biden has been hiding in his basement long enough that he really doesn’t have a firm grasp on reality anymore. He’s also desperate to see the inside of the Oval Office. He’s waited his entire career to take the ultimate spot – and now, those changes are slipping away before his very eyes.

So, he’s doing what any other Democrat would do: lie, deny and lie some more.

On Monday, Biden gave a speech to discuss the violent protests happening around the country. These are the same protests that have been brought on by the far-left who want to bring justice to what happened to George Floyd.

Biden doesn’t want to just claim the far-left being responsible. He also brings Trump into it, saying that it’s somehow Trump’s fault for the rampant destruction of the cities.

According to Biden, Trump is guilty of creating all of the tensions that followed Floyd’s death. “This president long ago forfeited any moral leadership in this country. He can’t stop the violence because for years he’s fomented it.”

Perhaps he missed the part where Trump has been begging the Democratic leadership in Seattle, Portland, and other cities to let him send in federal aid to put an end to all of the violence.

Biden is only speaking out about the rioting now because it’s hurting him in the polls. Only now is he ready to even acknowledge that they have been going on.

He says, “I want to be very clear about all of this — rioting is not protesting. Looting is not protesting. Setting fires is not protesting. None of this is protesting. It’s lawlessness, plain and simple. And those who do it should be prosecuted. Violence will not bring change; it will only bring destruction. It’s wrong in every way, it divides instead of unites.”

Perhaps he should talk to some of his fellow Dems about this. After all, Ayanna Pressley is actually identifying that the Dems should be rioting and looting.

Biden’s been missing a lot from his basement. Instead, he borrows from the progressives that are on the frontlines. He paints a picture where the destruction of America is President Trump’s fault. He claims that the president is the one for the carnage when the reality is that the carnage is found in Dem-run cities and where Democratic governors refuse federal assistance.

Rather than looking to help and calling on his Democratic brothers and sisters in Congress to do something about the riots, he turns it into a presidential campaign moment.

“You know me. You know my heart. You know my story … ask yourself, do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters? Really? I want a safe America. Safe from COVID. Safe from crime and looting. Safe from racially motivated crime and violence. Safe from bad cops. Let me be crystal clear — safe from four more years of Donald Trump.”

There’s so much to say about this little speech – and it’s hard to decide where to start. He does look like a radical socialist – and he’s been partnering with them long enough that he’s been dragged farther and farther to the left throughout his presidential campaign. As for being safe from COVID, it seems he’s the only one looking to still quarantine. The Dems are out there protesting in the streets without a mask in sight.

He never called for the violence to stop. He never asked everyone to throw their support behind the cops. Instead, he wanted a moment to paint a false picture colored with lies to show that Trump is responsible for it all.

The polls tell the truth. The polls show that the country is done listening to the lies. Every major city where there are violent riots is being run by Dems. And each one of them has refused to get help from Trump. But go ahead, Biden, lie to us some more and tell us how Trump is to blame.
